Who we are

Playing without an account

You never need an account to play. Your game progress, your dragon's name, your story choices and your settings are stored on your device. Dragonward has no ads, analytics or tracking, and it does not use your contacts, location, microphone, camera or photos.

Optional account (Sign in with Apple)

If you choose Sign in with Apple in Settings > Account and sync, your journey syncs between your iPhone and iPad. Dragonward asks Apple for no name or email. Apple gives us a private user ID instead.

Linked to that ID, we store:

• your journey: your dragon's name, your story choices and your progress;
• a record of in-game rewards and spending (coins, materials, supplies and items, and when each was earned or used);
• a random ID for each device you sync, so we can tell your devices apart;
• which packs and looks you own.

We use this data only to sync your journey and keep your purchases with your account. This data is stored by Supabase, Inc., our database provider, on servers in the United States. See Supabase's privacy policy. Like any internet service, our providers receive your IP address when your device connects.

Purchases

Expansion packs and cosmetic looks are optional one-time purchases made through the Apple App Store. Apple processes your payment; we never receive your payment details. We use RevenueCat, Inc. to confirm and restore purchases. RevenueCat receives your purchase receipts and history, basic technical information (platform, OS and app version, locale and IP address), and an identifier: an anonymous one created for this app or, once you sign in, your account's user ID, so your purchases follow your account. We do not let it collect device advertising identifiers. See RevenueCat's privacy policy. Your device keeps a record of what you own so it works offline.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it to track you across other apps and websites.

Children

Dragonward does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep account data while your account exists. To delete it, open Settings > Account and sync > Delete account. This deletes your account and all of its synced data from our servers. The journey on that device stays as a local save. Signing out only removes the account from that device.

Without an account, delete your progress by deleting the app. Purchase records are also kept by Apple and RevenueCat under their own policies. To ask about them, or any other privacy question, email support@dragonward.app.
